If you’re experiencing a financial hardship with paying your mortgage, rent, utilities or other expense due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus Pandemic) the COVID-19 Relief Program may be able to assist you. This program is open to individuals and families who are experiencing a delay in making their payments due to COVID-19.

An ECCCM case manager will work with you to determine if you are eligible for assistance. If you do not qualify for this program, other appropriate funding may be available to assist.

If you are eligible for assistance, the funds will be sent directly to the payee to cover your payment.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Job loss as a result of COVID-19

  • Wage reduction as a result of COVID-19

  • Illness as a result of COVID-19

  • Other household impact due to COVID-19

  • Childcare challenges as a result of COVID-19

  • Working prior to February 29, 2020 and have not been able to find employment due to COVID-19

  • Must have been current on bill prior to loss of income due to COVID-19

  • You must be a resident of Catawba County

Supporting Documents (required)

  • Identification (i.e. Drivers License)

  • Income verification (last 30 days)

  • Verification of Job Loss or Income Loss

  • Benefit Award Letters

  • Alimony/Child Support Letters

  • Section 8 Verification

  • Current bill(s)

  • Bank Statements (Checking & Savings)

  • Mortgage or Rent Documents

Application

Complete the following application with the required supporting documents. You may scan your documents or take a photo of them with your smart phone. Be sure photos are clear. An ECCCM case manager will call you on the date and time requested.

NOTE THAT SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED!

If preferred, you may come to ECCCM for an in-person interview. No appointment is necessary. Be certain to bring the required supporting documents as listed.
